"We stayed in “Candy” for a three month vacation.  It was an outstanding winter sojourn for a number of reasons.  It was the first house that we have rented that lived up to its quoted reputation. Heimo and Manuela were very ‘reachable’ for questions and directions.  That has not always been the case when we have rented in the past. Nor did we feel ‘put upon’ in any way for asking questions about routine matters..  Candy, herself, was most charming  and an absolute joy. She is spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. We found the accompanying notebook of information on the house and city very useful. It was a wonderful and calming environment in which to write  and think.
